SMS/WMS Summer Gathering
Sunday August 30 at the Catamount Center
Woodland Park, CO
Noon to 4:00 pm
The Catamount Center will be the destination for an informal gathering of Springs Mountain Sangha and Wet Mountain Sangha members.
Soaking up the beautiful surroundings on the slope of Pikes Peak, hiking, lunching, exploring and simply spending time with each other will be the order of the day.
Andrew Palmer, Sensei, will be there to make an offering, and Becky Myers may be persuaded to lead us to some Ute prayer trees.
Morning Hike
While hiking trails are plentiful on the property, a few of us plan to take a 2-hour moderate/strenuous hike adjacent to the property in the morning. We’ll be meeting at the trailhead at 9 a.m. If you’re interested, please contact Linda for details.
Your to-do list
1. Alert Linda Hodges if you’ll be attending: hikerhodges@gmail.com (and if you’ll be hiking)
2. Print waiver (see link below), then sign, scan, and send it back to Linda
3. Make your potluck dish
4. Pack up a plate, utensils and bandana (to use as a napkin)
5. Come prepared for a great day!
Location
The Catamount Center is located at 3168 Edlowe Rd (CR 28) in Woodland Park.
We’ll be gathering in the Aspen Lodge.
