Newcomer Orientation: 2nd Monday of the month, CC Shove Chapel, Dharma Hall upstairs at 5:45 pm to meet anyone who would like some orientation to meditation, to our tradition, or to our sangha and customs.

End May:
A weekend with Judith Simmer-Brown, Ph.D., She is a professor and past Chair of Religious Studies at Naropa University and a prominent Buddhist scholar in the Shambala Buddhist tradition. Her book publications include: Meditation and the Classroom: contemplative Pedagogy for Religious Studies; Dakini’s Warm Breath: The Feminine Principle in Tibetan Buddhism; and, Benedict’s Dharma: Buddhists Comment on the Rule of St. Benedict. - Thursday: Mandala of Enlightenment Exhibition Opening at Corner Stone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave. By Artist Joan Bredin-Price. At 4:30, Professor David Gardiner and Sarah Bender, Sensei will be giving an interactive talk: Revealing the Mandala’s True Colors: Healing by Opening into the Depths of Inclusiveness
- Friday: A talk will be given to place American artist Joan Bredin-Price’s feminist interpretation of Tibetan tradition in context. “Dakini Wisdom: The Five Enlightened Consorts”, 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM. Screening Room, Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave.
- Saturday: Dharma Study and Practice: A discussion of the Dharma implications from her Friday evening talk on Dakini Wisdom along with a workshop on “Dharma and religious difference” with a focus on Inter-sangha dialog practice.

Shine and Shadow Summer Meditation Retreat with Wet Mountain Sangha and Andrew Palmer, Sensei Wednesday July 9 through Saturday July 12, 2014 @ The Center for Inner Peace, Pueblo, CO. This will be a non-residential retreat with members of the WMS offering their homes for out of towners.
