Monday Sit
April 1 Meditation and Sutra Service is cancelled due to the Green Vow of the World Retreat at the Abbey in Canon City. Wednesday and Saturday morning sits will be held as usual.
Spring Retreat
Our Spring Retreat with Sarah Bender, Sensei, will be Monday April 1 through Sunday April 7, in Canon City. Registration for this retreat is closed, but you can still attend several sessions. For more information about these sessions, or questions regarding the event, please contact Steve Milligan.
Dharma Talks
Join us for a dharma talk following the regular Monday night sit on April 15 with Andrew Palmer, Sensei, and again on April 22 with Sara Bender, Sensei.
Spring Koan Series
Our spring koan series with Sarah Bender, Sensei, and Andrew Palmer, Sensei, begin this month with sessions on April 21 and 28, and will continue in May. Everyone is welcome to attend; no previous koan experience needed. Join us from 3 to 5 pm at 7528 Jenkin Place; suggested dana $10. Contact Sarah Bender for more information.
Newcomer Orientation
Monday, April 8 at the Shove Chapel Dharma Hall (main level) at 5:45 pm. This for anyone who would like a brief orientation to meditation, our tradition, or our sangha and customs. Join us for meditation at 6 pm following the orientation.
Work in the Room
Saturday, April 20 will be an opportunity to discuss your practice with Andrew Palmer, Sensei. A separate email will be sent with contact information for the organizer.
Wayfaring Mind Talk
Monday, April 29 following meditation, Doris LeRoy will give a short talk about her practice and and the path that brought her to this particular place in her life. There will be time for questions following her talk.
Dharma Study and Discussion
April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 (Mondays), 5:30 – 6 pm, downstairs at Shove Chapel.
Steering Committee Meeting
The next meeting of the Steering Committee is April 10, 7pm at Linda Hodges house. For more information, please contact Liz Cramer.

About Dana
We depend on the generosity of our members to support the work of our sangha. Donations are gratefully received in the Dana bowl in the alcove of the meditation hall in Shove Chapel. Also, everyone is invited to contribute flowers for the altar and cookies for Community Nights.
