Periodically, the Steering Committee likes to remind Sangha members that there is a process for helping to resolve conflicts within the Sangha. While most of the time we can resolve issues ourselves without assistance, there may be times in community life when help is needed. A “community concerns” process has been defined to help mediate issues between Sangha members, the Sangha leadership, or even with our teachers.
While most issues can be addressed informally–that is, between the participants themselves–the community concerns process can be initiated by any Sangha member by contacting any member of the Steering Committee.
If you have a question about this process, please contact Steve Milligan (Chair person SMS Steering Committee) via 719.633.5925

There is an Appendix document that offers suggestions for individual to work with conflict as practices. This document can be found at: SMS_Conflict_Resolution_October_2013-Appendix
